A journey in time through the last century of motorsport: This is the weekend of AvD-Oldtimer-Grand-Prix at the legendary Nurburing featuring some of the sport’s greatest racing cars and drivers!
Several hundred racing cars make the #avdogp a true festival of historic motorsport again this year. Due to an exemption from the Ahrweiler district administration, up to 5,000 visitors per day are permitted.
Jacky Ickx (BEL) and René Arnoux (FRA) are among the most prominent drivers in the new Formula 1 demo run, in which mainly Ferarri F1 cars from the 1970s to 1990s will compete. Historic sports and touring cars as well as GTs, which take you into the history of Le Mans as well as the history of DTM and DRM, make the historic motorsport experience perfect.
Then there are the pre-war racing cars of the “Vintage Sports Car Trophy”, which go back to the founding days of the legendary Eifel route. And with the Ferraris of the FCD Racing Series and the bolides of the International Audi R8 LMS Cup, there are even excursions into current motorsport.
